The Braemar Creative Arts Festival has been short-listed for an EPIC award, one of 7 chosen from the whole of Scotland. The winner and runner-up will be chosen by a panel of judges and announced in February. But as an additional attraction the Voluntary Arts Organisation is offering a People's Choice Award for the project with the most public votes. We have been encouraged to ask friends, family, neighbours etc to vote for our project... this vote is FREE. (I think it is a way for the organisation to raise awareness of its work).
How to vote:
Go to www.voluntaryarts.org and half way down the front page, to the right hand side it talks about EPIC awards. Click on the link. The next page should show you all the Scottish entries, in alphabetical order, and we are at the top. Click on that link and it will take you to the page showing our description etc, and there's a voting button. When you click on the voting button it will ask you to register your email address....this is to stop people voting multiple times for the same project. After that it is easy.
Please let us know if you have any difficulty doing this.
Everybody with an email address can vote...so you can ask your friends and colleagues to vote too.
